1. Our community
Breaking Into Cybersecurity is built on openness, curiosity, and mutual respect.
We aim to create a space where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences, and connecting with others, regardless of background or experience level.
By signing up for or attending a BICS event, you agree to follow these guidelines and contribute to this environment.
We ask that you:
• Treat others with respect and inclusivity
• Contribute to a welcoming and open atmosphere
• Avoid disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior
2. Attendance & commitment
BICS events often have limited spots.
If you register and receive a spot, we expect that you either attend or cancel in advance.
If you do not show up or cancel less than 24 hours before the event, it may affect your chances of being selected for future events.
3. Photos & media
Photos may be taken during events for community and promotional purposes (e.g. social media, website).
If you prefer not to be photographed, you are always welcome to opt out. We will respect that.
